Getting Started

Real-time Infrastructure Monitoring

Introduction

SystemPulse gives you instant visibility into your uptime, response times, and error rates across every endpoint that matters.

This guide walks you through account provisioning, configuring your first HTTP health check, and bringing your engineering team into the dashboard. You’ll be tracking production metrics in under five minutes.

Account Setup

Sign Up with SSO or Email

Navigate to app.systempulse.io/register. Enterprise users should select Okta, Azure AD, or OneLogin. Free-tier accounts provision a default workspace named after your email domain.

Verify & Configure Billing

Confirm your inbox. Add a payment method only if you exceed 50 active monitors or need 90-day historical retention. Default plan includes 30-monitor concurrency with 1-minute check intervals.

First Monitor

Health checks validate endpoint availability, TLS certificates, and response payloads. Follow these exact steps to track your primary API gateway.

Step A

Define Target URL

Enter https://api.yourdomain.com/v2/status. SystemPulse automatically resolves DNS and initiates TCP handshake validation from six global probe nodes including US-East, EU-West, and APAC-Tokyo.

Step B

Set Alert Thresholds

Configure failure tolerance to 3 consecutive misses. Enable TLS expiry warnings at 14 days. Bind the monitor to your PagerDuty integration using routing key pd-prod-critical-8821.

Step C

Activate & Verify

Toggle the monitor to Active. Within 60 seconds, the dashboard populates latency percentiles (p50, p95, p99) and checks certificate chain validity. Confirm the green status indicator.

Next Steps

Collaboration keeps incidents contained. Share dashboards, assign on-call rotations, and set up status page syncs.

Add Engineers via Email

Go to Settings > Team Management. Paste up to 20 addresses. Assign roles: Viewer for QA, Editor for DevOps, Admin for platform leads. Invitations expire after 48 hours.

Connect External Tools

Integrate Slack #ops-alerts, GitHub Issues, or Datadog for unified incident tracking. API tokens are generated under Settings > Integrations > Webhooks.
